Eliano Braz, 33, studied classical violin for five years in his hometown Fortaleza, Brazil. He played in several bands before he decided to come to New York in 2004. On the weekend you can find him playing classical music at Bedford Avenue station. Once a week Eliano teaches kids to play the violin in an elementary school in the Bronx. On Sunday nights he performs modern Brazilian music at a bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
